Why are you removing it?

 

wax coated dental floss.

slide it under the part and work in a seesaw motion. it will keep you from prying it off. then you can use goof off to remove the adhesive.

I would recommend 3M adhesive remover that is safe for paint and the dental floss. Goo Gone works, but sometimes leaves a milky film on the paint. As was also mentioned, gently heating the 3M tape at the point of contact will help to soften it and make the floss work easier.
