One of my friends ordered the Borla on his 2010 SS. He got the loudest one they offer. Sounds amazing with the V8.
Akrapovic is well known in the bike community. It has to be the best made exhaust, IMO. It also costs $3500.
I bought an ARK performance exhaust.. single exit w/ burnt tip.. and it comes with a testpipe w/ extra bung for a wideband. Pretty good deal @ around 850 shipped. I chose it because I didn't want any drone and wanted a nice sounding, while fairly quiet exhaust. I love it. To me, a single tip, and especially the Ark exhaust is much more aggressive looking that any dual exhaust. It really compliments the rear. I am very pleased with it.

Vivid Racing has the slip on exhaust for just 2500. I would just throw that on and keep my ETS mid pipe, test pipe and AMS down. But for that price I could install an complete ETS intercooler kit, upgrade, injectors, and tune.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned CP-E.
The exhaust is very very deep. Cruising around it's very subtle and no drone on the highway ( I make hour plus trips at 80mph). When you WOT it gets very loud and let's people know your coming.
IMO if I had to do it all over again I would still pick the CP-E exhaust.
Look up the sound clips and all the reviews.

Whether you end up going with Akrapovic, Agency Power, Greddy, or whatever else... Please PM me/Dado. I'd like to see if we could earn your business.

I will add this to be list to do some research on.
The point of the thread is to try and narrow the list down so I can then research a few instead having to go through 20+ exhausts I have no first hand knowledge of. I appreciate the comments and opinions!

Thanks I will contact you when I decide to see what will work out.
Akrapovic stuff is VERY high quality, and very light. They're also hand made. If you want the best quality exhaust, then Akrapovic is definitely one of them. Whether or not you feel comfortable spending that much on an exhaust is up to you.
Dado had the Agency Power exhaust on his X and said it sounds great. No drone, with a nice overall sound.

Thanks for the video clip. Not a huge fan of the HKS if that is what it was. It does sound good though!
