Rally mud flaps should stick out over 1-2+ inches to do any protection on gravel and loose surface. Dont get me wrong the way these mud flaps are installed are fine in most cases. But for loose surface you want something more .
I was afraid that I would need some serious flaps for that. I might just get these and tape the heck out of the edges of the wheelwells and the sideskirts/bumpers just to be on the safe side because 99% of drive time will not be at a rally-x event

Tape it then, but the tape will come off no time. There zones where the rocks dirt hits the car. Look up rally x pictures( not mine i do not have it) and look where they have extra protection. Around rear door etc. And put at least 4 layer of tape there. I think then you will be set. Also a good idea to put a 3M helicopter or body tape to those places. (Clear)

Thanks! I'll give that a shot when I'll take it out to the next event.

These mudflaps are the only upgrade or MOD I have on my X and they are worth their weight in gold.

I've had OEM and rally armors on my MR before. Loved the look, but now I'm running without them. Looks good until you lower, then it's sort of silly!
