Just had my X delivered!

Hey everyone, other than a few post I'm pretty new and I'm stoked to say that I'm now an owner of a 2010 PB GSR. I live in WA and found one in SoCal that was a trade in at a Volvo dealership. I had Lemon Squad (3rd party inspection company) do a full inspection and test drive. I also had them make sure it was bone stock. The car had 19k on it when I bought it on January 12th and it took until the 24th for me to get a hold of it. The mountain passes between Oregon and WA caused several days in delays due to weather and I finally couldn't wait so I met the driver in the nearest city on my side of the state and drove it home at midnight. What a blast that was!

So far I've only gotten around to doing a tint, the temporary splash guard solution for rock chips posted in the show and shine section and I had the paint cleaned and sealed for the rest of the winter.

I plan to rustproof the undercarriage to protect it from the snow and salt this weekend with an oil based rustproofing called Fluid Film.

Evom has been a great resource for me so far and I just wanted to say thanks for the help and that I plan to stick around for the years to come.

I went with Lemon Squad and paid $120. That include a 155 point inspection, 40 pictures that they send to you the same day and the do a 2-5 mile test drive. They even caught a scratch on the driver side passenger door that had been touched up which the dealer forgot to mention, figures
Here's the website, they did mine the next day. http://www.lemonsquad.com/index.php

The wait almost killed me. We meet at a toyota dealership 300 miles from house, which is where it was supposed to be delivered but I couldn't wait any longer. It was midnight when we got there and I'll admit I was jittery and jumpy at the sight of every truck getting off the highway.

That above pic is from the dealer when they loaded it.
It came to me completely soiled after it had been in transit for 12days and through several mountain passes.
Sorry for the terrible shot. I was more focused on undressing her with my eyes.

I don't blame you for going and getting it off the truck as I probably would have too. But at least if it goes to a dealer it gets cleaned up first,

Yeah, I was tired of hearing excuses of why it was going to delayed again and again.

The car's original destination was my house, so it never would have gone to a dealer.
It still would have been soiled when I got it.
