Its coming out the exhaust the oil level its fine and still drives great pulls hard it just is spouting out black smoke

A few months ago I was on the highway cruising in my eclipse. A WW Evo came up behind me. It was a 2010 or 2011. He gunned it a sling shot around me. But his car was smoking out the exhaust really bad. My understanding with any car is if you are getting smoke out the exhaust it usually isnt a good thing. Have you noticed any new noises coming from the engine? Any lack of power? Any other signs of issues basically?

 

No it runs good sometimes it idels weird when its cold out but nothing bad at all

Dude, it's fine. Normal for any turbo'd car.

 

Prolly just had the stock '08 tune. It's running rich like all '08s

Yea it is running rich I can smell gas sometimes I know need a tune on it could that be why cuz I have some after market parts on it

 

Not to sound dumb but is afr and wot sorry I dont know what that means lol

 

Remember: White Smoke = Bad
Black Smoke = Rich/Normal
