Who is currently saving up for a Evo X ?

Hey guys , I live in New Zealand , and work for Air New Zealand as a aircraft engineer apprentice and finish my apprenticeship in the next 2-3 years , I am currently saving up for a Evo X, I really hope I can get one within the next 3 years. Me and my wife just moved back to my parents place so I can save heaps more, and I also got my first child on the way ~ anyway I hope my dream comes true for a WW Evo X GSR

and btw ~ do you need to be quite well off or rich to own a Evo X ?

All you need is descent credit and small downpaypent if need be and your set. Thats why most people are in a debt n have crappy credit.

I want to cash buy it tho ~ I went through finance before on a car , I dont like the whole interest charges overtime. I want to buy it and have it as my own.....hum..... I am not after a brand new one, some where under $40k NZ in the next 2-3 years , hopefully the price will come down a bit

don't know about NZ, but loan rates are REALLY cheap right now... for example, i'm picking up my '12 evo x today... i'm taking out a ~$33.5k (USD) loan and will only pay ~$2k in interest over 5 years. that's <$35/month!

I'm currently saving, but should hopefully have the car by the end of next month. SS and Navi on order, and I'll be putting 3k down.

Been saving up for a bit. Should have the down payment ready by May =)
Hopefully everything goes as planned, I am way too excited to be let down.

SS+SL for me. Possibly Aero kit if I can get it for 37 or less.

You need to be financially responsible.

It's going to take way longer if you want to pay all cash up front :/

I am saving up for one! I am planning on having it within the next month or sooner. Got my eye on an AS GSR.

I wish all of us good luck!

Mine should be in by next month but I too am worried about cost of ownership! I'm getting a SS SL GSR and putting 15k down. I hate taking the hit of buying new, but it will be nice knowing I'm the only that will "thrash" my EVO.

I am! If everything goes as plan I will be looking to get a brand new 2011 WW Evo X with 10K down in November or December. However, there is no rush if things don't go as plan. Just means more time to save. But I really hope they do hahah.

Not me! As soon as i'm done paying off my evo 9, i'm done with new expensive cars!
The Evo X should be a lot cheaper than it is now in about 2-3 years. Good luck on your search.

I'm saving up. I plan to put down a little over half for a 2012 gsr by the end of July. You dont have to be rich to own one, just manage your money well.
