ticking idle noise

is this a normal sound?

there is a ticking sound coming from around the engine area. i posted a video with the noise. you can hardly hear it in the video but in person its much louder and can be heard with the hood closed aswell. my car is stock, i only changed the fuel pump relay to blue a month ago.

Any help or feedback..

If I had to take a guess I would say the its the fuel injectors ticking. My car and other ars on evom have experienced the problem and that is what all the cases I have seen. Also I took it to the dealer and he said it was just the injectors. They said it was normal for evo's. Thats my 2 cents

My idle bounces usually between 800-1000 to sometimes dropping down really low where it sounds like my car is basically shut off for a very quick sec(If my idle is lower then normal then I just move the steering wheel a half of an inch either way and it will pick up). Didn't happen until I had tp/catback/cai. But X's idle is pretty bouncy so its normal. Now as far as it bouncing and lights dimming that never happened to me so idk what can cause that

there is a little vacuum hose located on the passenger side of your fuel rail that connects to the intake manifold.

you will need to pop off your plastic engine cover to view it, but from the factory the line is not secured and usually pops off causing rough idles

My X does the same thing, and my RA did it too. It's normal.
