Installing rear Tein Spring probelm

I have done this on so many of my cars and tooo easy but i am to the point now where i am done for the night on my 08 x. on the rear of my x with the tein springs they arent fitting(coming close to going back in the hub).they are about an inch below the hub and i have tried jacking up the spring/pulling down on the hub/and nothing is working.also i am sure i have it facing the right way. it even says on the box 08 evo lancer so i know they are the right springs. has anyone else had this problem or maybe i did do something wrong and am missing it.

Get a pry bar and pry down on the spindle, it should line it up.
