jam nut holding on rear hub

hello,
I made a mistake and removed the nut holding the rear hub on, 4 lug drum brakes 2003 lancer es, I am trying to find the torque specs to put it back on. I have heard a couple different things, one guy said 28 lbs while spinning it and another guy said 130 lbs. The 130 seems like a lot but just want to make sure I get it set back right so I don't ruin the bearing. Hoping that someone has the torque procedure for the rear hub

thank you

Jim

that is the correct torque...it's quite a bit of torque, but it's one of those things, it's a big nut so it can handle the torque, and you don't want that **** coming off while you're driving...if you think that's a lot, the front axle nut is 181 ft-lbs...

yeah, +/- 21...mine only goes to 150 as well, so I go max on the torque wrench, and then a tiny bit more with a breaker bar.

FYI, the bearing and shaft are designed so the axle nut torque does not apply a load to the rolling elements of the bearing, so don't worry about that - apply full torque.

Crans, for nuts like these, and flywheel bolts, I picked up a 1/2" beam style 250 lb-ft torque wrench off amazon.ca for cheap. Does the job, is accurate, and bulletproof.
