I'm very excited to hear your experience after your tune. Please keep us posted on the results and how much of a difference the car feels with the additional power. And congrats!

Absolutely!

On a side note.....trying to find a decent gauge pod is the WORST ever (don't think I'm going with the AMI..). How can there not be more of them available for purchase for our cars??

Install the intake and UICP yourself and save $100 in labor.

You're going to spend more in labor getting those gauges installed at Ivey than what they cost. You don't really need an oil pressure gauge.

The car will be fun after everything is on and a tune.

Everything is negotiable please call us to see what we can do the job for.

We sometimes offer breaks on pricing if you are doing alot at once here.

Thanks so much Sean. I appreciate hearing from you just moments ago. Was a real pleasure talking to you and I look forward to bringing the car in once I get everything.

Vik,
I truly wouldn't take a wrench to my car without losing 50lbs from stress in the process. I am not mechanically inclined at all, and though I would like to work (and learn) on my own car, the thought of screwing something up is enough for me to bow out. Also, with a 5 month old boy, I'm lucky I have time to shower let alone sit by the garage for a few hours.

And to think I use to hate coming to work. Now...every work day is a vacation!

Yeah man i hear ya , sounds like a busy day!

But I would say my experience with all my cars in the past , early evos to subies to skylines, the best times I look back on was the knuckle busting elbow bending nights under the hood with the stereo on.

Let us know how it goes with the tune.

So I received all the parts except the Mil Spec high flow cat due to "production issues". Since it has taken so long to make any headway on getting this one part, I decided to changed to an ETS high flow cat.

Hopefully the car will be with Ivey next week. Will keep you all informed on the progress.

Nice mod list, you will be very happy once its all on and tuned

As for a gauge pod, what i did for temporally is mount my gauges on my steering column, using the autometer gauge pods, and double sided sticky taped them on, since i didnt want to do any drilling.

It seems you are interested in a pillar pod, there is a company called DSG that does a full oem replacement pillar with the pods, the only thing is, its just waiting on them since theres like 100+ people wanting them. DSG is on the evo x forums.

Just thought i would throw that out there for you

Thanks guys. I actually have all the parts, just wanted to inform you all of the production issue Mil Spec is having.

Supposedly they are back up and running, however I didn't want to wait any longer so I changed to an ETS part (high flow cat).

I actually have a perrin pod mounted for the the steering column.
