Rattling sound coming from rear end when hitting bumps

I noticed this a few weeks ago that when I hit a bump, there is a clanky, rattley sound coming from the wheel area. It sound more like plastic tapping on something than metal. I jacked the car up and looked around and checked all I could to make sure everything was tight but couldnt find anything.

Any suggestions?

As you know from searching, it's usually associated with the swaybar.

Often an end-link. Sometimes a bracket.

What about the endlink? Pretty sure its not broken. What should I look for? Also which bracket? I could take some pics and post them to see if you can see anything.

When it comes to this sort of thing, it's a question and grabbing and yanking and seeing if it moves.

Next will be pulling the wheels and doing the same to the brakes and coilovers.

You have an Evo, not a Scooby. They're straight.

Jacked up the car and took wheel off and couldn't find anything out of the ordinary. End links look fine. Only thing I could imagine the sound being is the plastic cover on my strut.
Thoughts?

if you have an aftermarket exhaust, it may be the exhaust just hitting underneath. that happened to me before and it just took some readjusting of my exhaust...gl

Thanks for your input. If anything it would be the exhaust hitting a heat shield because the sound is not a "Ting" but rather a plasticy chatter. I did however shake exhaust side to side and back and forth and it seemed fine.

Im still sticking with the strut cover becaust that is the only thing i could imagine it being... everyhting else looked fine.

Is your swaybar centered? That last picture makes it look slightly shifted to the left.

(The odds of a dust-shield on a strut making a sound that you could hear seem low.)
