...and the parts are slowly coming in

So i'm getting my build together and the parts are slowly rolling in. seeing the wheels today got me really excited. just need to find the time to get everything installed, still waiting on the tires, downpipe, exhaust, fmic, licp, hfc test pipe, new relays, lugs, hub rings, and tpms, everything should be here by the end of next week....then the build begins.

all going on a 2012 GSR, only have 1007 miles as of today! so much for keeping it stock.

Nice selections. I got the springs in my bedroom and am about to order the same wheels.

How long was the wait. I'm being told they are on back order.

nope i went with OEM TPMS, however i will need to get them programmed at the dealer using there obdii tool, since it's not may daily i'll be selling my stock wheels and tires and tpms, i didn't want to bother taking the wheels apart to get the tpms sensors. if you want to use a set of winter wheels and summer wheels(2 sets) i would recommend against doing the OEM tpms, there's a system called alligator sens.it that you can clone your factory sensors so that any time you change wheels the ECU thinks they're the same tpms. and they'll be fully functional, you will need to buy the sens.it tpms sensors and a programmer to clone the ones in your factory wheels. with the sensors and programmer it ends up being 150-200 more than the oem, but that's only becuase you have to buy the programmer, if you know other people that want to do this i'd get a pool of money and just buy one programmer, as after you clone the sensors you won't need it anymore.

I'm probably going to go with the aftermarket TPMS system because I'll keep the stockers for winter tires.

Ouch, $150-200 more than the OEM units is a lot. Especially considering what they do is point out the obvious--your tire is flat! Thanks for the info!

$150 - $200 more upfront but then you dont have to keep paying the dealership for reprogramminmg everytime you want to switch wheels
