Evo x cel

I recently installed a Turbo XS TurboBack Exhaust and my CEL comes on with a code of P0420 could this be cause because im running straight pipes with no cats?? Or a bad O2 sensor? If it because of the Turboback exhaust is there anyway for me to Eliminate the CEL?? I will be getting it tuned next month but i have another vehicle that im driving because i dont want to drive the car to lean because of the AEM cold air intake and Turbo back exhaust! Any info would be great i am new to the EVO X so i dont need any smartass comments!! Thanks

When you get tuned that cell will go.

yeah it's because you have no cats... Either run a o2 Sensor spacer or just code it out when you get tuned.

Dammit!! lol

But seriously, as others have said, it's because you don't have a cat.

I'd be more worried about running lean because you have no tune on a modded car. You are smart to stay out of it until you get the tune sorted.

A tune or a piece called a mechanical 02 CEL fix will solve this for you.
