Or I'd still be driving my Ralliart lol... but then if Evo never existed, neither would have the Ralliart

Thanks.
Ive been through more cars then I can count but those listed I had the most fun with. And yes the Evo X is a fun car... in a couple more months I am hoping it is even more fun, whenever the rest of my parts come in.

Kind of off topic but anyone know someone that can make an extension/jumper harness for the Evo X??? If anyone knows anything it would be greatly appreciated!

I actually have one now after years in an STI and will be looking to sell it soon and potentially get in an Evo X. Don't get me wrong, it's the best car I've ever driven. But it is overkill 99.9% of the time and I feel like I don't ever get to use it how it was intended. Gunning it through second and you're already at speed and have to let off. Whereas, in my STI, I could have a lot more fun before jail time speeds.

I look at it as I'm paying twice the price for arguably twice the performance, but I can only use 5% of that increased performance at any time. It sure does get a lot more attention though...just from the wrong gender.
I tried driving my GTR a couple months ago and I forgot how much of a pain in the *** it was. 1100 HP and 800 something ft lbs of torque (if I remember correctly).... not the best for street driving. Was a stupid build... kind of regret it because it became a track car only and that got super expensive to maintain. BUT DANG IT WAS FUN!

Feels cheap, sounds cheap, and drives like a cheap car.

Owned one already, have you? I've owned and/or driven the last two generations of Evo and Charger, the difference in refinement and quality between the Evo and Charger is night and day. Charger hands down the more refined, quality machine. The Evo is every bit as reliable, but rattles like a can of bolts practically off the lot, and has plastic everywhere but the seats. The Charger has stitched leather everywhere and the 2006 I owned didn't show a squeak or rattle in 68k miles I owned it.

As for sound, if you think V8's sound cheap, well that's all subjective, but imo the exhaust note of a Hemi is far more pleasing than the angry vacuum cleaner noise my Evo(s) have emitted.

Love the Evo's for handling, looks, and ease of modding, but exhaust notes and build quality I do not.

Sorry but I just think all the SRT cars are ugly. I'm sure they are fast and reasonably comfortable but I just hate the throwback look. Nothing personal but there are very few domestic cars I like, no wonder all the American car companies are failing or already failed. The only thing good made domestically is large trucks or SUV's

I must say I find all Dodges ugly as sin... but in the case of the Charger, I agree with you... the interior is better put together than our Evos

And yes, I wish my Evo sounded like a stock SRT8...

I have been living with Dodge products for 10 years, now. I have spent more time in the Charger and the new Challenger than I would have cared to. I drove a Charger R/T around Lake Tahoe (through the tricky bits in the National Park) as well as through the country-side and into the desert. I was in it for long enough to come to a conclusion about the car, if that is what you are getting at. The plastic, inside the car, gives the impression that it was not made with care. The navigation system I did not like. The trunk liner started falling out within a couple of days. The suspension was wonky, to say the least. It wallowed in even the nicest of corners.

There is nothing refined about the Charger. Comparing a Charger to an Evolution, in terms of refinement, is like comparing the IQ of a kid with downs to a Pop-Tart.
