Naah..

I'd say, the majority of enthusiasts make educated decisions about their purchases and modifications, and that is the reason behind it..

Thats funny. I had a cop tell me my cars sticks out, you can't miss it. One time pulling away from a stoplight with a car in the next lane, a cop driving by makes a U turn and pulls me over. I asked him why he pulled me over instead of the other car? He said because my car "looked" faster. He let me go, since neither of our cars were over the speed limit

I decided to go wingless because..... it's too flashy with that big wing

The benefits of going wingless are..... not too flashy... more subtle/tame look

Benefit with wing on Evo X .... i heard it functions pretty well by adding 120lbs down force...

anyone know if the do-luck duckbill trunk or even the rexpeed replica wing extension helps with downforce? i hate the obnoxiously big wing also and prefer the cleaner look but dont want to spin out when i start tracking this summer as everyone is saying

The car is only 2 weeks old and I think about this question every day. Do I want to add the high type OEM wing? I like the Lip look, but the car seems to be missing something without the big wing. I don't care about attention from the popo as the car is going to remain stock.

I have 2010 gsr with SSS package.

I didnt like the look of the big wing, I make a lot of trips between dallas and houston, and I got followed by a state trooper one time. he pulled up next to me and looked over and i nodded and he dropped back and pulled someone else over.

After that attention I decided i wanted to go wingless not just for police attention but because I like the cleaner look.

I have the rexpeed duckbill lip as well as the rexpeed vortex generator (i know rice)..but ever since it seems to blend in rather well now.

Regarding downforce, I dont track at all, and the spirited highway driving up to 80mph doesnt feel any worse without the wing.

On a track it will be more noticeable, but i wouldnt know.

Winged or wingless is pretty much a personal opinion. I love the wing. And I didnt buy a MR because they dont have the wing option for the new ones.

I agree it will get you more attention from the cops and ricers alike. I really dont care though. I ignore the ricers and the cops usually just run my plates and then leave me alone.

Assuming that mpg is now an acronym for "motives for posting garbage," then that sounds about right.
