found this today and looks good to me. is that what the 2008s are running for these days? i looked it up on KBB and according to them this is a good deal haha. also were there any problems with the 2008s or would looking for a 2010 be better?

I think it's a damn good deal. Aero Kit, SSS package, and Navi for 27k?
It's obviously modified tho.. AMS intercooler and upper intercooler pipe, and an aftermarket exhaust. Atleast it's not cheap parts.
EDIT: Has it been wrecked? The intercooler looks a little crooked?

carfax says its clean but ill make sure to double check with a shop or something
edit: what do you think would be a good and reasonable price to offer just to try to get it the lowest i can??

it's out of warranty and even though it belonged to 1 owner it doesn't mean they didn't beat it to death. i'd go buy a new one if you can afford it and save the headaches. you can deal and get a 2011 SS for $30k at south coast or hb mitsu.
that is true but I'm gonna want to mod it sooner then later haha....so the warranty would just be void once i start modding.

A new Evo that is 30k will not have the navi or aero kit. That's about 4k extra, so this car is about 7k cheaper than a new one, at the cheapest possible price.
Again, I think it's a good buy.

Maybe it just wasn't installed all the way properly. I mean, I guess ask for 26ish just to see if they would go for it. 27k with the options sounds like a pretty good deal.
If you have to ask that question, then you should really consider the condition that this vehicle is in. What else could be installed in some hob-knob fashion?
You need to see if it comes with a warranty with the car as is, and if so, you need to get that in writing with the mods that are currently in place.
I don't think this is a good deal. Regardless of options, you're better off buying new at not much more, that way you won't have to worry about somebody else's sloppy seconds.
But it's your money, do with it as you will.

I have to agree, I'd buy new if you can afford it. Then when you start modding at least you know every single change that was done to the car.
Buying the car new then modding is cheaper than buying used and having to possibly replace major components.

And that is one from SC or HB Mitsu. Hell in the NE that car new would be 40k.
I agree with being careful when buying a used performance car however that car is far from "not much more" new comparing apples to apples
