Is it necessary for turbo upgrade?

I just installed a bigger turbo with stock oil line. Someone, however, told me that I should've used bigger oil line for that turbo. Is it necessary?

FYI, the "bigger turbo" is MAP EF 2

Stock line is perfect for the EF2 and is what I'm running on my car. You'll find the majority of people who give you advice don't have a clue what they're talking about and are just attempting to regurgitate something they read somewhere.

Do you notice a huge difference between your stock turbo and your EF2?

If you consider about 50 more horsepower and the car pulling all the way to redline, instead of falling off around 5.5k, then yes.. Haha

Yup. I'm up 59whp peak, 78whp @ 7k RPM, and it pulls hard all the way to rev-limiter (7500RPM). Torque is +59WTQ @ 7k RPM too.

All depends what you plan to use the car for and what you want from it. Spool, response, and long-term reliability were all key factors for me. It's pretty damn tough to complain about a 400+WHP car on pump gas/stock cams too

Stock cams

You have convinced me to go EF2 Now I just need to save up my pennies lol. Do you still have the stock exhaust manifold?

Go FP Red, it sounds so sexy and has a nice kick to it. Then again i havent tried the EF2 so it might sound the same and give the same kick. Just for reference. Here is the Ball Bearing FP Red on stock cams
