MAPerformance staff, Please help me...

MAPerformance staff, Please help me...

Since I heard so many great things about MAPerformance, I ordered few things from them. However, after I received my first shipment I was really really disappointed. Let me tell you why.

(1) I ordered "MAP Stainless Steel O2 Eliminator Downpipe"; However, they didn't include what I marked on the picture below.



(2) I also ordered "MAP Turbocharger Oil Feed Line Kit" along with a turbo charger. They also didn't include what I marked on the picture below.




So, I e-mailed them but they said, "Are you absolutely positive you are missing both? ... it might have fallen somewhere inside the package." You know what? The very first thing that I did right after receiving the shipment was to match the contents with the picture on their website. But those things weren't there at all... So, I am stuck here in the middle of installation and waiting this weekend passes ASAP so that I can get hold of them on Monday.



Those of you who have been dealing with MAPerfomance, it never happens to you right?

Andy MAP is usually very good with customer service. If you say the items are missing, I'm sure they would have no problem sending them out to you as soon as you got a hold of them. People make mistakes, I think you should talk to someone there first before blowing them up on the boards.... Now if they told you to F off and youre beat (highly unlikely) ... That's when you post something negitive...

bTW did you say you were stuck in the middle of an install?? Why would you start installing the mod, if you knew the parts were missing as soon as you received them and compaired the parts to the pictures?

That sucks but it happens all the time to the best companies. I've heard nothing but good things about MAP

I hear great things about map all the time and will be ordering a few parts from them in the upcoming weeks. I have a web based business and I can tell you this type of stuff happens on occasion, especially when dealing with a high volume of orders. With that said, I'm sure they would most likely get it straightened out for you which is what any good reputable business would do.

I ordered a downpipe from them last year and received everything includin gasket and bolts. I'm sure MAP will send you if you said its not there. Their customer service is great.

Just re-use the stock gaskets and banjo bolts. It sucks, but mistakes happen. MAP has always gotten me everything I order and never missing any parts.

Ive received great customer service from MAP. ordered their o2 dump a long time ago and that was a simple transaction then recently ordered a ported intake mani and throttle body from them. I went with them because I was very confident I would have no problem dealing with the core charges and such. Must have PMd Adam 20 times through that transaction and he always responded very quickly and answered all my questions. Im sure that this was a fluke and they will take care of you

Monday is a holiday, i wonder if theyre working? But like someone here stated, i wouldve waited until they have a chance to make it right before starting a thread. But thats just me haha. I'm sure you'll get your missing parts dude. Good luck

MAP will take care of you for sure i have being ordering stuff from the then for the last 2 years and i have never have had a problems with then. They take care their customer for sure.

I'm sorry to hear of this inconvenience, I will be in the office Monday and get this resolved promptly. We do ask that people double check their packaging as a first step, you wouldn't believe how many times people have overlooked small parts. Thanks to everyone for your kind words!
