swift spec r springs issue..

hey whats up guys, bought my evo x new, when it had about 1500 miles i put in some swift spec r springs, car now has 4100 miles,

the Issue? i went in for oil change and dealer notified me that car as lower on one side than the other, make long story short i came home and measure top of the rim to fender and i got Front left:5"front right:4 3/4 //rear right:4 3/4 rear left:4 1/2..
i did run it by the mechanic and he double checked work and told me they are installed properly.

Anyone has experienced this?

i called swift they told me is b/c they haven't settled yet and they have never had a complain about any springs and also suggested to drive for another 1000 miles or swap left to right springs, (really don't feel like spending extra cash).

any ideas?

thanks

Disconnect the swaybars at both ends and remeasure.

The most likely culprit.....the hats. Make sure the arrows in the hats r pointed towards the car.

It's a .25" difference, I'd put my money on that the front left hats' arrow is pointing away from the car.

The way the hats r made is slanted, and if the arrow is pointing outwards, it will create a gap between the body and the McPherson strut. About a .25" gap. If not corrected, ur car will correct itself by crushing that hat.

Yeah kinda the same issue here, however it could also be as simple as the road not being exactly straight... but it does take some time to settle properly. Check what people said above me, but otherwise check back on it after a few more miles.

I like the hats idea, but to explain why I suggested disconnecting the swaybars: this was a ten-minute way to verify that it's not the swaybars causing the problem. It would be a bummer to pull the coilovers and then discover that it was not them at fault.
