Only time it caused surge/flutter was when i was up in the mountains and had to go up a slight hill. Also you can hear it abit during the track. So i've orderd a 6psi spring along with my new clutch and ill give that a try when it arrives on monday.
I had the -11psi spring in my 50mm and I could hear it flutter even though the car felt good. I bought the proper spring for mine and the car felt stronger and had a solid discharge sound.

Some people buy their springs in accordance with the sound it makes, though... They usually don't care that the car will run better with the right spring.

ricers! lol. I personally love the QR. You can defently hear it (inside the car and outside) but not loud enough to be annoying. Even though i have a turbo that you can hear spooling like a ***** and the tomei exhaust, i want to keep my car low key as possible so it doesnt attract attention. I find people with the hks bov are people that are saying "hey look at my car, its fast and it makes a whistle noise"

Also for the OP, here is what the TiAL QR looks like. You already have the AMS intake so it will fit great.

niceeeee a lot of people said that the TIAL is very very good...i will not go with the HKS...i think ill try to find a TIAL....i dont have a licp aftermarket...but ok tks for everything!!! im just worried about how to choose the spring but its ok.....i tough the tougher spring would be the best because it will remain close underpressure!!!

I ran 30psi for a few days and im currently running 27psi on the 8psi spring and its fine during WOT, partial throttle at the track is another story. I highly recommend going with a 6psi spring. I highly doubt you will ever have an issue with the bov releasing air underpressure.

One is universal which welding is necessary and the other will bolt right on the x. That is most likely the price difference. Synapse or Tial I would go with. All bov's have there issue with all brands every once and awhile. Im guessing you mean Ivey Tuning? They wouldn't suggest something if they don't trust it.

Because they are knock-offs and work worse than an OE BPV

EDIT: Oh yeah like the person above mentioned too, there are universal ones with a lower price too, but usually require some fab to get working

Looks awesome, man. I just can't justify the price of the AMS lower pipe. Granted, I love AMS and all the customer service I received back in the day with my IX... I'm just having to take care of a family now. I'd have to see if ETS can weld the flange on in place of the tube for the factory style DV.

Also, are you not running the radiator shroud?

My synapse just quit on me yesterday! it started to leak boost around the bolts. So i'm switching back to my hks that ran good for nearly 5 years no issue.

I've had my synapse for about a year so i guess it just depends on your luck

This is the reason it cost so much for the Evo X.

All that piping you see leading up to the BOV is included in the kit. For recir, you change the insert and flip the bov around so it goes into the intake.

That being said, the HKS is crap.

What a ridiculous setup for something simple; this is exactly why I suggest either the Cobb or Synapse DV, they're direct swap-ins!

No i dont have the shroud one. For some reason i couldnt get it to fit on right with the AMS UICP. I even tried grinding abit of the underside off but i cant get it to sit flat, so i just said **** it. The TiAL QR comes with a extra flange to weld onto a pipe. Im pretty sure it could be welded onto the stock LICP.

Ahh... I see. What size is the OEM LICP anyways?
