Red face Side-Effect of having my evo parked outside... >.>

I'm not sure where most of you park your X; driveway, street, garage, but during the week, I leave it parked on the driveway here in the city.

I'll get home, and I'll notice whilst eating my dinner, watching tv, or at night trying to go to bed, all the ricers that pass my house/driveway just rev their engines as if they expect me to run to my car and try to race them.

I'm flattered, I really am. But cmon.

anyone experience this?

Also: for a two-thread-in-one deal; its the "What info setting do you leave on while driving" thread? The milage remaining? average mpg? S-AWC screen? etc...

I leave mine on the S-AWC screen, I like to see those torques being distributed

Mileage because I don't think I'll ever see the S-AWC do anything with normal driving. When I take it to the track or autoX, I'll use it then.

Once a while I would park outside and notice that trucks and ricer often like to drive by and let off their fart cans. On the screen I leave it on Mileage.

S-AWC display. I get the wannabe thug gangstas that drive by my house and yell out the window while revving. I live on a cul-de-sac...

What would be rad is if the next time this happens, you actually did run outside, hop in your car and chased em down for race

To the extent that "rad" has fewer letters than either "stupid" or "moronic," I like this new (use of the) word. It will save time replying to many posts.

I keep my VIII parked in the driveway. Everybody and their brother revs their engine as they go by... Hondas with fart cans, diesel trucks, even have some kid in a Chrysler Sebring that has said a time or two as he goes by that his car will take mine, lol.

It was amusing at first, but now it's just annoying. I've considered lighting a few of them up with a paintball gun when they go by. Especially some kid in a black Honda that drove past 6 times over the course of an hour one evening, winding out first gear till it sounded like it was gonna blow up.

Usually on MPG and when I'm not parking it in the garage, occasional rev's do happen

I have my screen set to mileage. I like the S-AWC screen... but really... if you are doing something to make the S-AWC really active... you should probably be paying attention to the road at that point in time... lol

I get the same thing. One kid in an STI and onother in a RSX. I swear when they drive by it sounds like "doooooooooooooooooooooooooooosh (shift) baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaag".
