anyone with knowledge of the areo kit bracket or the piece that holds it on im in dire need of the bracket that attaches to the car then the side skirt screws to that, without it every time i get out of the car my leg hits it and it just about falls off!!! i even re-double sided it with the 3m tape and still is too loose. i searched and searched on here and online and cant find any bracket or part for it! some ppl were telling me it comes with the side skirt when u buy it but ive seen ppl on here selling brand new ones and in there pics it didnt have the bracket so i dont know where or how to get ahold of this piece!!

ps. its the drivers side factory areo kit side skirt that i need the bracket for.

You mean the plastic bracket that attaches to the front of the car by the wheel well and the front edge of the side skirt? If so, they are notorious for cracking and breaking. I suspect you can get a new piece from your dealer though I don't have the part number off hand. Alternatively, if the bracket is completely disconnected from the skirt you'll notice that the skirt can pull away. When you do this you will see three tabs at the top edge that fit/ clip between the fender well and the plastic bracket that sits flush to the car body. if you pop the plastic push pins from your wheel well liner at the bottom you can get your hand behind that bracket and use a couple of zip ties looping through the tabs on the skirt and then that plastic bracket that sits against the car. Push the skirt into place and then cinching it tight. It seems harder than it is and the zip ties will really hold. Then search around and find the bracket or leave the zip ties forever.

no i know what one your talking about thats the one that bolts to the bottom of the drivers side fender i have that one, this one actually ( i think ) clips into the bottom of the body reight where the pinch weld is and then the side skirt snaps onto the side and it wraps around underneath the car where u secure the side skirt to this plastic bracket that runs along side of the car

u can see it from the front and rear wheel well it runs from one end to the other...

im shocked no one has replaced this or has dont the bigger factory areo kit on the evo x and know what im talking about
