2012 PB EVO X MR Phase I mods (bolt ons)
2012 PB EVO X MR Phase I mods (bolt ons)
Dropped my 2012 PB EVO X MR off at CBRD for the below modifications/tune. The baseline Mustang Dyno came back as 218hp/239tq today. The vehicle will be a daily driver and occasional track car. I can’t wait to see the final product and most importantly can’t wait to drive it. I am looking forward to a long partnership with Chad and the CBRD team.

Existing changes:

Geoshield's DarkMatter ceramic window tint
Rally Armor Mud Flaps
UPDATE (June 19th):
Chad and I will continue to investigate what appears to be a change in the 2012 from the previous years; the current suspicion is something with the cams in the 2012 that may be different from previous years affecting overall performance numbers. Final pass on the Mustang Dyno after tuning showed 349whp/294wtq (corrected numbers) from a baseline of 210whp/226wtq. It seems lower than what we expected from baselines of project done in the past on Evo X MR (2010 and 2011) with similar mods. I just got one of the 2012s that doesn’t want to cooperate.
I consider this success, but we will continue to look into the 2012 Evo X "issue".
The below dyno is running 93 gas during a hot and simi wet day.
My target for 400whp on a Mustang Dyno was a bit too optimistic with my mods and the 2012 change, but in the end I am happy. Chad and team have been great to work with and cant wait to drive it. Thanks CBRD!

Chad, thanks for letting me and my family come see the progress and for the tour. The car is coming along and looking (and sounding) great. Cant wait to see and drive the finished product.
