Back in the Evo Family again.

Nearly 10 yrs. later, and I am back in the Evo family. Last Evo was a 2003 White, No sunroof, bought brand new when they came to the U.S. Owned it for 2 years. Great car.

Just purchased a brand new Phantom Black Evo X, 2 days ago. Got the Sight & Sound Package (HID's, Rockford Fosgate, Fast Key Entry).

Already put 300 miles on her.

We went to the dealership, to look at a used 2010 with 24000 miles, and ended up getting a KILLER deal on a new one - instead.

Been lurking on this site for a few months now, and am glad to be a part of the Evo family again.

Yeah, it is. I traded in an S2000, back in 03 - for the first one. Going from a sporty RWD, to an AWD, at the age of 22, made me get bored quickly. I am sure I would have a different feel for the car, had I been a bit older.

Out of curiousity - What are people usually seeing (whp wise) with the typical bolt-ons and tune? (intake, Intercooler and piping, exhaust and tune)

You will enjoy it very much. Have fun and be safe. Get a tune ASAP even at bone stock you will see great gains with a good tune. Even the cobb accessport will wake up your car.

You could realistically see around +80whp or so over stock with a good intake, intercooler, piping, TBE (with a O2/DP combo), 3-port, and good tune.

You might could see around +30 whp just from a tune on a stock Evo.
