If he pulls all the hoses now - after driving it many miles - he is much more likely to cause a boost leak than find any problems from the "bath."

Some of you seem to have no clue what this car is designed for.

Whenever you need to rage at the world because the paint on your rally car isn't perfect, I'm here for you, Ken. Glad to be of service.

edit: it seems that, even when it's obvious, a snark tag is required ... my bad

Edit to your edit....All your comments are snark, snide, condescending, belittling, and pretentious at best. No need for a tag
You are? Thats funny. Alot of people were there for me. Giving me their insight, opinion, knowledge, and simply lending an ear. I don't recall any comment or reply from you in the thread you are referring to. You have a strange way of "being there". Perhaps you were just mumbling pretentious useless comments under your breath. Thanks for the support buddy

Your pulling alot of air in with your turbo, even if a little water was sucked in past your intake and made it to the engine, you would hear exactly what you heard (marbles) and it take running the car a little bit to get the marble sound to go away by working all the water through the engine. There is no problems with anything and you do not need to change your fluids or anything. You do not have to check anything out with your intercooler, it should be all sealed up tight but just in case you want to check you should check your Lower intercooler piping and make sure it is all sealed up because that is right before your throttle body and if water was sucked in there in would definitely get into the engine.

Yeah, the stock intake system when driving through a puddle like that is much worse than say a short ram style. There's no water bypass valve and water got in I would change fluids thank god it's still running. It "should" go away after all water is purged.

I woulda at least pulled the spark plugs and looked into the cylinder for water and let it air dry. Guess it's a little late for that though.

Lesson learned. You should be fine though, just get your fluids changed and check your intercooler.
