New evo owner needs help

Well after 5 years of drooling over these cars and saving the change I found in everyones couches I finally pulled the trigger and bought a 2008 mr today. I'm super ecstatic to be part of such an awesome community of people! There's just one problem... My car currently doesn't have seat if anyone has a pair of OEM seats they're willing to part (preferably leather MR) with please shoot me a pm. I really appreciate the help in advance.

Thanks,
miffer

Check the private evo x part out section of the forum, this is the wrong place to be looking for things for sale.

Grats by the way.

Yea I know it probably should be. Mods if you feel the need to move it that's cool. Im just kind of in a jam bc they're back ordered from mitsu and redonkulusy expensive so I figured it would get more attention here. Plus I'll be going insane until I can drive this beast

^im also looking for a drivers seat...checked that link out and wow! how much would the oem recaros be valued otherwise, ie brand new and not necessarily for the evo?

That depends on the style if they aren't "necessarily for the Evo."

You bought a car with no seats? How did you test drive it?

I would just look for lancer seats for now if you can't wait. They should be a lot easier to find and a lot cheaper. Then pony up for the Recaros a little later when they become available on here.

My old man owns a dealership so I purchased the car through manheim auctions. I have not test driven it however it is guaranteed so if there is something wrong I send it back. Normally i wouldn't buy a car sight un seen but I stole it. Oh and no it's not salvage. I have been thinking about lancer seats but I really don't want to go that route if it's at all possible

You could go with a set of aftermarket seats, but then you'll have to add a resistor to get rid of the airbag light.
