My v2 ctsv has dyno'd twice on two different dyno'd 570+. If you want I'll email you the graphs. My v stock was 460whp. Yes you can gain 120 with ported throttle body pulleys ported snout and tune. Don't believe me go on ctsvowners.com and ask. Funny thing is it cost me less than 1800 dollars not 10k. That's what happens when you supercharge a v8. The pre 2009 ctsv has 400 crank. Ctsvs stock trap at 118. Ppl with my mods trap in the 123-125 range. Trust me I have 570+ whp.

What I said was between 10-15% on a RWD car which is significantly lower than an AWD car.

But don't take my word for it:

For example, a stock 2006 STI makes advertised 300 horsepower at the flywheel, and about 235-240 hp at the wheels. A stock 1998 C5 Corvette has 345 hp at the flywheel and about 299 whp. Of course different dynos would read differently, we take these sample whp figures to illustrate an example. Corvette weighs 3246 lbs, and the STI weighs 3351 lbs, both without drivers. Now you can calculate power-to-weight ratio of both cars. STI: 3351/240 = ~14 lb/whp. Corvette: 3246/299 = ~11 lb/whp.

So a RWD 345 hp car is putting down 299 whp which is 14% loss.

FWD, RWD, AWD all have different losses.

You will find tons and tons of conflicting information on the Internet about what the loss percentages are for different drivetrain types. Below are the correct drivetrain loss percentages for each drivetrain type. Keep in mind that the drivetrain loss is about 2-5% higher in cars with automatic transmissions.
  • FWD: 10-15% loss;
  • RWD: 10-18% loss;
  • AWD: 17-25% loss.

lol, yes a V2 can make 550+ rwhp with a pulley and a tune, might want to do a little more research before making those claims. I just about bought one but wanted a car for track duty so i got back into an evo.
