Base GSR and USB port?

I was originally under the impression that the base level GSR (no SS upgrade) does not have the USB port. In the little cubby hold behind the shifter I have a black box, but there is no connections in it.

My question is where is the USB port on the base GSR? It comes with one right? It states on the Mitsu sight under standard features:

FUSE Hands-free Link System™ with USB Port

I dont think I have the aux ports in the cubby. What are those used for anyways? I had them in the Outlander Sport but wasnt sure what you use them for.

Same here for the base Canadian gsr. Aux behind the shifter and USB on the glove box. The aux is just anther way to plug your phone in for music.

You know I havent. I was waiting to update my thread. They think it looks darker because the clear coat they used is thicker than the factory. I told them that could be it cause we know Mitsu uses a thin clear coat on the paint. So on Monday 7/16 I take the car back. They are going to re-do it and put me in a rental while they do it.

I also submitted my diminished value claim a week ago for $4500. I'm going to give them a call for that tomorrow.

The base 2012 Evo should have a working USB port. I know they do in Canada.

the aux ports under the dash work the same way as a USB would, just need the red/white to 3.5mm audio jack. aux mode will play whatever is plugged into them.
