lol that's not a picture of the glove compartment! That's just the giant cubby in the center console!

USB plug is directly underneath that long center dash trim when you open up the glove compartment door.

Yeah. I had a pic of the glove compartment but took it off. I was looking on the left side of the glove compartment. The connection is on the upper part of the glove compartment. I had to get on my knee's in the street and look up to find it. it seems like a really weird location. Can you connect something to the usb and close the glove compartment? Or do you need to keep it open while you have something connected?

In the Outlander Sport they had a connection in the arm rest compartment. Then they had a grove so you can run the cord through the arm rest while it was closed.

You can close it, if you have a cable running out of it, it fits above the glove compartment door and won't get crushed. I was thinking of leaving a USB drive in there with songs so I don't have to connect something all the time.

I was thinking off doing something similar. I guess you would just need to make sure the thumb drive isn't that long though.

Also it has a little rubber port cover, so it's super-camoflaged. Groping around to find it is sorta like your first time getting to second base. If you use both hands you'll definitely find what you're looking for

Mitsubishi took out the aux port from 2012's. They assumed BT streaming and USB would suffice.
