Will stock Lancer Seats fit on EVO X GSR?

Just bought a 2010 EVO X GSR with Recaro seats.

I am kind of fat and the sit cushions are killing me. Would anyone happens to know if I am able to just get the regular lancer seats and fit them on my EVO.

If so, please give me some info as easiest way to get and do this. Also reading around I see something about an airbag code issue. Will changing these seats be a plug n play or would I need to do anything else.

Any help, is greatly appreciated.

Yea the 08+ lancer seats fit perfectly. They are plug and play and you will not have any problems/airbag lights as long as you plug the connectors back up.

Thanks very much for clarifying. Do you by any chance know where would be the easiest place to get a pair of these? Also is there any difference from The Lancer GT to the Ralliart front seats?

I want to try to get the best look possible after taking out the Recaro's

Yea, I mean you could always just trade seats with a Lancer owner or a Ralliart owner. Put up a thread in the marketplace to see if there is someone around you. You would actually make money on the deal, cuz it won't be a straight up trade. They will have to put some cash on top.

I would just look at the seats personally. I don't know if they come in any different colors or anything, but I'm pretty sure they are all the same style seats.

I would say in mint condition, used Recaros usually go for around $1000 for the set, if I'm not mistaken..

hey searching around I got with this website:

car-part.com which has access to nationwide junk yards. Maybe you can get a used one there for the regular Lancer seats.

I am actually going to try and see an upholstery shop to see if I am able to adjust the metal sides of the Recaro's if it is at all possible.

I love these seats except for sides of the seat cushions.

ugakirk,

Would a Regular Lancer Leather seats fit the evo Chassis, do you think this would be a good trade for an even exchange?

That was going to be my 2nd option if the Recaro's cushion are unable to be adjusted.

Yea that will work. I would still want to get a little bit of cash on top if they will go for it.
