Loose weight, keep the seats.
What does it mean "when you ooze in the car?"

Seriously. Is it slang for something?

I had a full load the other day in my car. Probably a little over 1000lbs. The car didnt feel any slower. And boy did I scare the **** out of two of those passengers when I took a turn and then gunned it getting on the highway.

If your tracking your car, then yeah, I guess you should loose weight to help increase your time by a few tenths of a second. If you are just DD'ing the car, then I wouldn't worry about the whp loss.

car-part.com which has access to nationwide junk yards. Maybe you can get a used one there for the regular Lancer seats.

I am actually going to try and see an upholstery shop to see if I am able to adjust the metal sides of the Recaro's if it is at all possible.

I love these seats except for sides of the seat cushions.
The 2008-2012 Lancers have the same seat right? Any of those years would work?

So to swap them it is a simple plug and play? You disconnect the sensor and unbolt the Recaro's seats. Take them out. Put in the regular Lancer seat. Bolt them in and connect the sensor?

I would go with the ralliart seats. They still look like sport seats but feel really good even on long drives. Most ralliart owners would trade plus cash for evo seats try on clubralliart.com

I am at a junk yard who has the seats. They say the seats don't fit the Evo. Has others done this. They fit without modifications?
