SS or Areo kit?

Just as the title says which kit would you buy. I want both but the price is too high so I might have to go with one or the other.

Thanks

If you like brighter headlights and an upgraded sound system, get the SS.
If that's not so important to you, and u like the way the Aero Kit looks, then get that. Either one is pretty overpriced.. I'd put my money in the SS just cuz i'm not sure i like the look of the aero, but that's just me. Plus, an Aero Kit without HID's just seems out of place.

Yea it is pretty damn expensive. RC Hill has an evo with the SS and I asked how much to get the aero install on it and they quoted around $2200 i think, I was like damn!

I feel like the aero kit makes it awkward to step in and out of the car... because you need to step "over" the aero kit. If passengers aren't used to your car... I bet you they are going to step on it.

I would choose the SS over the aero kit because having intergrated HID's and a better sound system to me is more important then an aero kit. You can always get an aftermarket front lip and rear spats if need be down the road where OEM HID's are more expensive.

Get the SS u get the fast key so u never have to pull the keys out ur pocket to drive the car plus the sound system plus HIDs that u can position up and down from inside the car. A 6 cd changer and satellite radio. Trust me u will not regret it

I completely forgot about the FAST key system which is awsome. More bang for your buck with the SS versus the aero kit

SS easily. You can install the Aero kit easy afterwards. It will be much harder to install everything on the SS package.

It's easy to add the aero kit after you own the car, near impossible to add the FASTkey. So I say SS.

I would certainly choose the SS package over the aero. The HIDs and sound system are far more enjoyable then the aero kit.

Plus like TheBlade said the Fast key is nearly impossible to install aftermarket. The aero kit can easily be added later or you can buy your own lip and side skirts and really personalize the car.

Def SS. You can add all the other stuff pretty easily in the Aero package but it's very hard/almost impossible to add the SS.

Cool then SS it is. I hear they just use tape to install the aero kit, is that true?

I just got mine last week with the SS and absolutely love it. I've heard the same thing about the aero kit from the dealer....
The fast key is awesome, the bluetooth is awesome, the stereo rocks, etc etc.

The aero kit is attached to the car at various points with screws and pop-rivets, but they lay the adhesive tape down to keep it evenly attached and assure it's fitted properly.

If you were to buy aftermarket lip or body kit you'd want to attach it the same way.

However, what you are probably getting at in your research between the two kits is how some people point out the adhesive used from 08-10 sorta sucked and was known for peeling off and looking bad. This is true, but if you hit up a local body shop I'm sure they can recommend much higher quality stuff to use.
