ASC System Service Required during full pulls

I have a '10 GSR with full bolt ons, FP Red and E85. With or without ASC turned all the way off I get the message ASC System Service Required when I do full throttle pulls. I noticed at the drag strip it would show up in third gear I think 70-80 with it turned completely off (until AYC Brake Off shown). Even with it on or off when I do full pulls 2nd or 3rd usually it will come on. Anyone else with decent power have this issue? It works fine otherwise and never get this message unless I power through a corner or do pulls, so mainly when the power is on. Is it just that its too much power for the system to handle?

My asc light can be coaxed to come on when the car is traveling at speed in reverse while turning through steep elevation changes. The light will turn off once I get going forward and have a chance to safely cut the motor and restart. Does it every time. Maybe I'm not making enough jam to coax the light in a normal strip type event? Only mods for me are AP and testpipe. How much power you figure you are making?

Um, have you checked the level of your brake fluid?

Owners' manuals can be your friend.

I have ckd both front and rear fluids. I work on cars so I usually make sure everything is on the up and up and do services and cks pretty regularly. Im making 475 AWHP and 400 AWTQ. Under spirited driving and corning it works fine and have no problems. Its only when im doing full on pulls through the gears or hard corners. Just happened this weekend we were going through the mountains, I was going straight and in third gear nailed it and it came on about 4500-5000 rpm. Always goes away when cycle key. Actually happened about 4-5 on that trip. But that's rare, I usually don't drive the car hard at all.

If I'm not mistaken that message also pops up if you are overboosting. Can't remember if it's associated with a CEL code. What are you tuned on, AP?

Im dyno tuned through just the ECM I believe with dual 91/E85 tunes. I haven't rechecked faults yet but that's a good idea.

Are you sure asc is turned all the way off? Your holding the button long enough?

Had same issue...car is overboosting...turbo trying to compensate for a boost leak maybe? I would do a boost leak test...if not have your tuner adjust your map to turn boost down a bit...or just do it on the MBC if you have one.

This might sound silly but I had the same issue in my stock 2011 Evo X GSR. What it ended up being was the battery terminal in my engine bay. Make sure that the bolt that is part of the battery terminal is tightened. Mine was loose and gave me all these weird problems. Just a thought.

Yes im sure I am. It says AYC Brake off in the MFI. Im running about 28-29 for boost. I believe the overboosting/boost leak may be correct. I think it happened when I was at the track, when I left I remember it feeling a lot more powerful. At the track my boost gauge hose blew off so I zip tied it. Well I ckd things today and found the line from my boost solenoid to the turbo outlet was disconnected. It must of blew off as well. Going to zip tie it on and see how she does. Glad it didn't blow up!! Thanks for the input everyone. Ill update if its better after a while

Haha well its been about a month since I was at the track so im just happy all is okay. It still runs like a banshee with no issues so I must've dodged a bullet. My gauge maxes at 30 so I never really knew how high it was going since I boost to almost that anyway and anytime it hits 30 I just assumed it wasn't an issue. Glad I finally decided to figure something out with that and not keep writing it off. Thanks again guys. Haven't been able to try it out yet but will let you all know. Im sure it's fine now and that's what it was. Pretty blatant
