Spray Paint

Not sure if this or the show and shine sub-forum is the right sub-forum to ask this in.

I have a carbon fiber front lip on my car and I drive through Downtown LA a lot and scrape on an average of 90% of the driveways I go in/come out of. So, as you can imagine it's pretty beat up. The clear is cracking in spots and it's starting to look pretty raggedy.

Basically I'm wondering if anyone has found a white spray paint that closely matches the stock WW color. I would get it painted professionally if I knew that I was never going to scrape going up another driveway or hit another dip and scrape going only 5 mph, but alas that is not the case, it will scrape again and I feel that paying that much for a paint job would be useless.

So spray paint anyone? If you have found one please let me know the Brand and Color Code/Name.

I've had good luck with ColorRite. Last time i checked the website they listed the evo paint codes. It's a tad expensive for a can of spray paint. But it should match fairly well and it's less than a professional job.

Go to a real paint shop, they can make you aerosol cans with your actually WW factory paint code mix. Usually about $25. You can also order them online.

wetsand, i personally did 400grit (wetanddry sand paper by 3m), then a bit of 800grit.

reclear with cans is fine, try do be even when you spray
light coat
medium coat
heavier last coat , and if you have a place to go or do it yourself, a polish finishes it right up to a brand new look
