opinion needed on tune for bov

Does ne1 know what is causing the whistle sound under PushA recirc w/Aby spring?
It happens asap I start spooling. At 0+ vac it hums a high pitched whistle. It sounds exactly like the blow off sound except continuously. Sometimes it stops humming for a second and then picks up again.

I redid all the hoses connected from the LICP and ETS intake going into the diverter using clamps.
I also tried capping and uncapping port B with a little rubber nozzle that was also secured via a miniclamp and also tried it with a zip tie.

Switching to Pull-B only resolves this "whistling hum" issue, but I am reluctant to attempt this because, I was tuned on PushA recirc.
Funny thing is that the car does hold boost perfectly fine.

I would greatly appreciate any suggestions because asap I press the throttle, birds start singing.

Here are pictures of my setup.

I doubt that you would need a tune again.

If your old set-up / valve was leaking like a bastard then, I assume you could crank out some more HP. I wouldn't worry about it tho, as long as everything was leaktested

I wouldn't do it unless you were having problems due to your old bov at the time of you last tune

It's cheap and air was leaking from it even with a zip tie.
I'm gonna find a better cap from home depo or something.

I guess running in push a only, has b letting some "steam" out too

Thanks for your help everyone!
Why not just run A+B?

Asap I started spooling it came back. Continuous chirp hum. Starts @ 0vac.
I don't hear "fluttering" and don't experience that partial throttle "buck".
Remember, I was tuned for PushA. That's why I am scared to try anything else.
Birds were singing during and after the tune. Don't leak boost. Never dropped under 25psi although have spiked a little due to it being 90 degrees out this week.

here is my setup - http://njcarmeets.com/steven/blowoffvalve/1.jpg
here is the line that connects to the bov (black ziptie) - http://njcarmeets.com/steven/blowoffvalve/2.jpg

Where did you obtain this "top cap". Mine is on there very very securely on portB with 2 diff clamps lol.

I did also try pull mode B, drivable, but the car bucks real violently asap I let off the gas at higher RPMS, Push mode doesn't seem to be affected.

*****, I will try A+B in the morning. Thank you for the picture.
I will also attempt use the 2 bendy adapters in the top cap along with the provided Y piece.

I have an unsettled feeling that I should of used the bendy adapters from the first place.

What if...
PortB does vent a little if you are only using PushA recirc

What if
The culprit lies within the design of the adapter heads that just stick straight up & are not being used.
Thus causing a "whistling" as air comes through it ONLY when running PushMode applications.

Honestly, I still can't pinpoint why once again this would happen in push only and not pull... but...

I'll keep everyone updated I have a good feeling about this.

eh didn't work...

I'm at a loss for words...
If it was a coupler leak, then why the heck doesn't this happen in PullB

why r u running with a cap on the other port?

also, pics r ok, however i cant tell where the bov is living with regards to the flow path.

you have close ups, but if you cant see the entire picture, its not very helpful.

Aby thank you so much for responding.
I capped off the other port just to see if air was leaking from there. It sayed on, but I settled to take it off.

Since then, I have decided go into PullB with your spring. The only time it seems to whistle now is alongside the discharge. Downside of this, the car bucks violently on the disacharge, but I guess it is livable.

Aby, I did notice something...
The ETS coupler hoses are too damn hard. Meaning it is very tough to clamp them down securely. I literally did it till my fingers started bleeding lol.

I had my father watch the diverter as I blew off some steam in idle and told me the bottom of the diverter was sliding in and out of the coupler.
We couldn't tighten it down anymore. Maybe it is squealing from there?

Here are more pictures.
I've verified that the T-splitter that the diverter valve is connected to, isn't hooked up with another line that is attached to the EBCS.

Here are more pictures:

http://njcarmeets.com/steven/blowoffvalve/5.jpg (this was after 2 revs) notice how the coupler lowered from the diverter. Impossible to tigthen clamps anymore.

Can ne1 link me to maybe an air sealant or something extra I can layer around the diverter openings and put the coupler on. Maybe that would provide a better seal?
Or maybe sum1 can send me a link to a "softer" coupler hose that I can hook up to my ETS LICP?

Disreguard the dangling Y adapter not being connected. I was testing the modes and settle for pullB so far

I just reused the stock hose and cut it to fit the LICP.
