Park Bench Wings on Evo's
AMS GT-R top speed run. 218mph. No park bench wing. How much greater is the aerodynamic efficiency of the gtr when compared to an evo? Can't be a huge difference

No honestly I'm a fan of the OE high-spoiler that came on my 11GSR, and the OE wing I had on my STi. To me the spoiler is more of a sense of imagery of the car, I'm just glad the OE design is proven purposeful in it's design.
You guys do realize the amazing thing about the X is the Yugoslavian guy that designed the body also did designs for Ferrari right? All the details of the X are amazingly well thought out. The front end design is specifically to force as much air though the FMIC, radiator, and AC condensor as possible with keeping clean, still air flowing over the body.
Enough about me getting on the OE design, but it's one of the major reasons I wanted the car, more so than caring about interiors, engine and warranty issues, etc.
Love the meme!
That's possible, but it may also have affected the top speed run, producing a lower mph overall.

The GTR has significantly greater underbody aero. The downforce applied by the underbody spoilers make it so that you don't a ridiculously high wing.

You don't need as much downforce if you are running your car in rally, but on tarmac larger wings such as those from APR are beneficial.
Guys that put them on their street cars are pretty much just douches that want attention or like to hard park their car.

I'm with you Dave, 100%.
I bought the aftermarket OEM SSS wing since my car didn't come with it. Wouldn't ever consider the park bench, even if I needed to travel at ludicrous speed.
Agreed. Hard park, or have their car assigned a spot by an air traffic controller!

Best of both worlds
