I know quite a few people with RHD but they are civics, integras and 240sx's ect. and they are in the 90's years so idk if that matters as well.

What matters is how much of a hassle you'll have when you try to get registration and insurance

I doubt you will be able to register it in the USA.

every state is different. you should contact your local dmv and ask them directly.

i cant imagine driving a rhd car daily. making a left turn would be terrifying...

Okay, since you haven't heard of the problems that arise when trying to register a Nissan Skyline GTR that's not the current USDM version. Now if it's not a Evo 8 and above they prolly won't register it because of emissions and DOT crash safety.

Now, if it's a Evo 8 and up then you should be able to get it registered as long as it will pass emissions.

DOT will allow you to crash test one of the cars your trying to get in but that means you'd need 2 of those cars, one to crash and pass safety standards and another to actually drive. But as far as I know they aren't allowing any cars that don't pass emissions and that aren't currently sold here for that make and model.

Homeland Security will come take it from you 5 years down the road after you follow the proper procedure to register the imported vehicle.

The process of getting it registered to legally drive on a public road is 99% of the hassle the rest of the hassle is not even worth mentioning. Problem with getting it registered is all the safety regulations need to be passed for crash and restraint, then of course all of the emissions junk. If it can pass federal regulations for import, then find a county that doesn't do emissions and then there will be a *possibility* of getting this to happen.

But honestly, I doubt it. Because you'll run into federal regulations that will tell you to just get the USDM version of the car.

It's funny when you ride a motorcycle for the first time it's easier to turn left than right (even in a parking lot without lanes). It's all in your head. Right and Left makes no difference. It's the same challenge as pulling into a parking spot and keeping inside the the lines.

Really about an hour of city driving and RHD is just as easy. Fast food drive-thru's without a passenger are an impossibility though

When I went in to the dealership they said they can order one RHD, but its much more expensive.

At the same time, you are not looking at doing that, but at the same time, for the price difference between the USDM and getting an FQ-360 here you could do the same mods and tune it and be in the same boat without the same hassle.

I would like to have a RHD. And honestly, that isn't the problem here.

The issue is its a EDM FQ360. It is really hard to import different cars here usually. And the worst part is, they can actually impound it and you will never see it again, or your money. Of course that is the extreme end of the spectrum, but it has happened. This is the only thing keeping me from trying to import a Evo V. haha.
