Buying a RHD?
If you are getting a year model with in the past 6 years you should be good and if it's from europe.
The GTR's were allowed for a few years then they changed the laws because Japan did not crash test them to USA stand and the windshields were not made with safty glass like USA cars at the time were made with. You also had to ship sertant parts seperate from the car to pass emission and other standardes set.
South coast had one a soldier brought from Japan he got it here no problem but because of the new restrictions on GTR's the dealer could not sell in USA only out side but bringing them from over sea's is no problem they just can't sell them here any more. "Side not privet sale is ok seen a R32 for sale in DC"
But thats a older car but the past six year EVO's i.e 8-9-10 were all held to US standareds for safty/emissions to be able to be sold in a US dealership/market.
The only real factor is your states view on RHD most states don't care you might have to pay a little higher tax then a LHD but thats not that bad.
It's the same in europe I called Englands road and safty about taking my EVO over there it's all ok just have to pay a little more on MOT because LHD but most insurance company will not insure LHD over there thats the bad thing.
I have seen a lot of RHD British/Europe on the road in Texas, Cali, Colorado and Alabama so your state might be the same.
Then agen each is different Cali does smog Texas has no smog but state inspection and South Carolina has no state inspection or smog you can run no cat legally.
So...
You might want to check with your insurance company if they insure RHD also.
Check DMV then insurance company if both are green light and you don't mind paying extra tax on it get it.
Would be cool to see a FQ on the road one of a kind and resale in the states would be higher for it since it was never released here.
Good luck

why don't you go to lunch today with a coworker and make a left turn at a major street and allow your passenger to make the decision as to when you'll make the turn. if their is oncoming traffic making the same left turn, it would obstruct the passenger's view of oncoming traffic.
