Curious. Why did you buy your evo?

 

because race car

 

I played grand turismo 3 to much while i was in korea...

 

because there wasn't anything else for the money that I could get with the overall performance the Evo has and is capable of.

 

To **** off the wife... must've worked as I'm divorced now

 

Because its Sexy and Hot looking car. Plus the bonus is its AWD Turbo and Lots of parts are available for it. Also To **** off V6,V8,V10 And the list goes on

 

4 doors, all wheel drive, and turbo

 

PURE AWESOMENESS, plus the AWD and turbo and its a sexy looking car

 

Cause I wanted once from the time I learnt about the original Evo in 92/93

 

It was/is cheaper than therapy.

 

AWD. I can drive it year round without worry and have been for what 7-8 years now

 

Because I was 17 and it's an evo. One of the most appealing somewhat affordable cars for that age group. And the first time I saw one in 03 or 04 I knew I had to get one. And I'm 20 and it's fully built making near 800whp

 

exactly. Great all-around car for the money plus it looks great. I've wanted one since high school and after watching the black AMS Evo videos I fell in love.

I also love the market for aftermarket parts with imports compared to say a Z06... Pretty much all Z06's look the same (lowered with wheels) and there's not much you can do to them other than make them go fast, otherwise they look riced out. The Evo has a huge market from both american vendors and japanese vendors which makes it fun to modify. There are so many different cars on this forum alone...

Also I love how japanese manufacturers make their cars too, they use good aftermarket parts to make a car (brembos, recaros, etc...) instead of making their own stuff, it's like it saves you a step when you're modifying the car

 

I needed a commuter car

 

Haven't gotten one yet, just starting to look.. But because AWD instead of fail wheel drive....
