Worst decision ever???
I paid 38k for my GSR with Sun and Leather and Sight and Sound new (well 41miles).
It wasn't the 30k some people have said they paid, but here in AZ it's hard to get an Evo with packages, the one I got had to be dealer-traded with Capitol Mitsu in San Jose. I had to pay for the shipping too
I was going though the same thing every where I went a used one was running me only 30 bucks less on a monthly since interest rate is higher on used cars. So I went with new. Also I was looking at the 2012 in late August early Sept but kept telling dealership I didn't want to buy one if the 2013 would come out in like a month. I had one saleman promise me they were prob not making a 2013 and if they did it wouldn't be out til Late December. A week later I got my 2013 and not from that guy. I email him back with a picture of my 2013 Evo and told him he shouldn't talk about stuff he does not know about.
bring it back to them right NOW. you'd have to be STUPID to pay that much for it. it's always a good idea to do a little research before you buy a car..
that's a ****ing ridiculous price for that.

The first thing you should of done was look at the KBB price. I did a quick check and you car is worth 29k. Id offer 28k for it and see if they would take that. Then you gotta add taxes and fees which is around 2k. You could of had your car for 30k out the door without warranty. And i never put down on a car. every 1k you put down is just 20 dollars off your monthly. i would of kept that down payment and use it on registration, maintenance, and parts. So out the door your montly would of been $483.15 with a 5% interest for 72 months. Again, this only applies if your final price for the car was 30K taxes and fees included.

Carmax might have been your friend in this case...

The more important thing is that you now have an EVO! You paid what you paid, just forget about the numbers and enjoy it. Discussing it on an EVO forum will only make it worst, since the only people who will say something about it are the ones who bought at rock bottom prices, which is getting more and more rare as demand is still high.
Welcome to the brotherhood, you got your deal not someone else's. Just like how everyone's credit is different, you worked out your finances and got your own car. Now just enjoy it!
