What performance part to get next!?

Hey guys, so I just finished installing the ETS V2 Catback and really like it. What my goal is at the moment is to to try to get as much power out of the car while not voiding the factory warranty. My question is. What part should I get next to go with the catback to get some decent power and not void the warranty!?

Thanks guys.

Not to sound like a jerk, but there are hundreds are topics on this.

If you are worried about the warranty, don't mod the car. Period.

Driving school. I think you should know how your car performs at its limits before deciding what other mod to do.

Call the dealer you go to most and ask what you can and can't do to keep warranty.. Mine here says Anything before the MAF and after the Cat is fine...Tunes 100% void but tunes can be reset thats gonna be the best mod, but also do you have a SST version? That would require a pill

Cobb access port is going to be the best thing for you unless you are going to add more parts and get a tune. What made you go with the catback vs turbo back?

heh,
I did catback as well... except I did the ETS V2 quiet ..

I personally did it to keep the loudness of the exhaust down.. but after hearing it after the install today ,and noticing how quiet this thing is. I will end up getting the downpipe with a HFC to complete the kit.

My Route:

1) Catback
2) Intake
3) Tune

Next round
1) Intercooler + hardpipes
2) Downpipe
3) Tune right after the above is installed

I can easily go fully stock in less than 3 hours. I kept my stock parts and to return the ecu back to stock is as easy as plugin the tactrix cable and loading my original stock map

Go with a Cosworth Drop In Air Filter and replace stock cat with HFC or TP. My mods are ETS V2 Quiet, Cosworth air filter, and AMS HFC. However, I did get my car tuned. Returning to stock for me wouldn't take too long if I needed to go back for warranty work. I'm very happy with the power I'm making but, I highly recommend a tune to see the real potential from yours mods.

If you can't go with a tune we have a bunch of bolt on's that work together.

Above is a good thread showing the power gains.

I did my first HPDE this past weekend and I loved it. Before going to the track I wanted to get all of these mods done, but now I want to get back to the track! I learned a lot about my car & how it handles. I have a 2008 MR completely stock and it's a lot to handle out on the track.

I would like to get an exhaust, intake, the Upper/Lower IC piping, and IC as well. No rush though.
