Which Exhaust?
I love the Ultimate Racing. Not sure why people think it is so loud. I love the sound. Deep. But on the freeway I hardly hear it over the wind noise in the car. I also wonder if time of day people hear them makes a difference? Things are noisier at night. But that is the only time I ever think it's loud. I had a Sheriff follow me for 3 miles UP a hill so there was no way to keep it quite. He wasn't "following me" just behind me. I kept waiting for the lights to come on but they didn't. He was the second one to get right behind me since I got the exhaust and no problems yet.
But ETS was one of my choices. Its just I was only able to hear it on yourtube and the UR I heard in real life. ETS makes great products so I am sure it's good. I just like the looks of the UR and the sound is AWSOME. Can't wait to get the DP and TP to see if it changes anything.
If you don't mind driving to So Cal you can stop by and hear it in real life. The weather is probably nicer here...
Try and find someone with them. I can tell you before I got mine and heard them on youtube I thought thats exactly how they sounded. I was going to make a video on my UR so people could use to to help with their decision but I can't get the video to sound anywhere close to how it sounds in real life so I figured I would be doing an injustice by putting it up. Maybe others on youtube do sound like their exhaust. I just know with my FANCY iphone 5 and its 3 mics I can't get it to sound close to real life.

Like many other guys have said, ETS V2 Quiet is the way to go. I've had several other exhausts in the past, and none have the same deep exhaust growl nor do they produce the amount of power the ETS V2 does. And they're a great company with outstanding customer service, just another reason why i'm a fan.
There are many exhausts to choose from and everyone has their favorite decibel level and exhaust note.
For me, I think HKS Hi-Power is the best sounding exhaust for the X. It’s loud enough to make the car sound like it should, but it’s not overly loud to be annoying to your neighbors. A few of my neighbors actually said my car sounds good so I’m happy they are not annoyed by it.
The Hi-Power has a very deep exhaust note and it sets off car alarms on occasion. Today I set off a car alarm driving downtown when I downshifted while I was approaching a red light.

Another vote for ETS here.
I just picked up the V2 Quiet and it suits my needs perfectly. Running only catback but it definitely lets the car breathe while not being obnoxious and it has no drone while driving on the highway. Fitment was great and quality was top notch. The best part is ETS sells the rear sections now, so with the V-band clamp you can easily buy a another section to increase/decrease the volume. I went with Quiet because it looks closest to stock.

Funny, asking a question like this and you probably end up more confused then before you asked it. All the different opinions. You really have to hear them. One if the things I don't understand is why the exhaust manufacturers don't put the decibal reading on their sites? Seems as though that's one of the main concerns for people. The reading would take one variable out of it. I think most of the exhausts mentioned were qualiy. So it comes down to how loud you want it, the type of sound and the looks of the exhaust. All subjective. Somebody said the UR has a drone on the freeway. I can't even hear the exhaust at cruising speeds. That's an example of personal taste and sensitivity to noise. No way to say which one will be right for you. Exhaust was my toughest decision. Hours on YouTube. Almost got the ETS, then Greddy, they Beschiur (spelled wrong) the Turboxs then ended up with UR because like I said before, I just happened to pull up next to a guy with one and followed him for a few miles and liked it.

Get an ETS o2 dump downpipe, you'll get all the loudness you want from that... Plus it adds power lol. Explore around town and listen to other exhausts systems in person to get a better feel. My $0.02
