Car Color regret
I think they look the best in WW. The contrast with the black fascia is amazing! I see your point, but in all honesty there are only so many colors from the factory. You're bound to run into someone with your color.
My original choice was OB. I went to multiple dealerships and they all couldn't find an OB with the SS package (which was a must for me because of fast key), this was back in June/July. Then I saw the SL package in person and the leather was too nice to pass up. I ended up with a WW which was my second choice. I don't regret it because I think it looks amazing when it's clean, but I still love the blue. I can always paint it too.
I really wanted OB with the ss package but there was none on the east coast that was a gsr. i was thinking about having one shipped from the west coast but i wanted to fly to the car location and then drive it back home.
I personally love WW. I know everyone in their mother has it but ever since I saw an Evo VIII in white back in 03 I always wanted a white evo. Besides, I'm the only other x in my area that I've seen.
Love my WW. Like others have stated, its not like there are a lot of Evos running around anyways and I bought the car because I like white just about on any car. If you dont like it get your car wrapped?
I came from an Aspen White 08 STi when I got a Mercury Gray Pearl X. I really wanted a white Evo so much I considered (maybe still am) trading my car in for a WW 2013 in a few months. It was one of those deals where I could get ther car when I did and if I didn't I might not have been able to and at the time the 2012 were supposed to be "the last of the Evos" so I pulled the trigger on it.
When I got my car they had a white one available but wasn't SS and for an almost 40K car I want a nice stereo and some HIDs plus I got it for the same price as non SS. One lousy week later a WW SS shows up at the dealer and Mitsubishi announces the Evo wil continue through 2013.... DOH!
Now MGP has really grown on me (despite my car being dirty as hell 99.9% of the time). I like the fact that I have not run across another MGP Evo (a few regular lancers and RAs but not Evos) Most Evos here seem to be White or Black with a few Blue ones so definitely going for the rare factor.
I might still trade in february or march but its more to get a 2013 VIN# and build date not so much the color anymore.

The funny thing that you said was that you bought it in 2011... The WW's was already the popular color by 2010 it was kinda unique when it first came out back in 08 but if you have been on forums or youve been looking into the community before you bought the car you wouldve have alerady known that everyone has WW's. lol
It is a self enjoyment thing that won't be affect by others.
More the same color on the street that mean more people like and accept the color. You should feel proud that you made the right choice.
For me, I always feel happy when I meet another same car on the street.

And...you can be confident I won't have the Voltex front lip like yours, I would never be able to get the car in the garage
Yeah really but its one of those things that the more I think about it the more retarded it sounds.
Its like buying all those "collectibles" because you just know they'll be worth something but instead you're just a kid at heart and want to play.
With the money I'll lose in depreciation I could have bought just about every mod I'm interested in.
