If you really want that one go for 20k or Less IMO
^^^That is the price range that I was thinking. However with a front and rear collision, I don't think I'd want it period. Bottom line, if you feel this is the car for you, go check it out in person to see how all the panels line up, etc. and also have an independent shop check it over as well. Spending $20K+, I don't want to just take the seller's word for it.

Simply for any car (not just an Evo), how do the panels line up? Can you visibly see that it was in an accident? Look underneath it to see any residual damage. From there, you have to look/feel/hear mechanical problems.

I am definitely not the person to point out specifics of what to look for or listen for. I can see or feel some of the more obvious, glaring issues. And that is why I'd want a mechanic that has no vested interest in the deal to give it a full check. Spending a $100 or so is worth it, especially if you walk away. People always say that they are happy the spent the money for peace of mind on a car they purchase. Trust me, you'll be happier if you spent that money and realized that you wouldn't have walked away and would have purchased a problem without the inspection.

Best of luck! Not trying to be a downer; this car could be repaired perfectly. Just trying to give some useful advice

If you're still looking at the white Evo, spend the $200 and get an independent inspection. I'd also damn certain ask for pictures from the wreck and invoices for the repairs to judge for myself how bad the damage was.

Airbags going off and cosmetic damage are not applicable to the same event. Also, have you pulled the carfax to see what it says about the vehicle?
