normaly based on the prices I have found on the internet I would say hell no. But you are in a wierd twilight zone freak ofnature location were EVO's are highly over priced. I have found a brand new 2012for as little as 29990. No Im not going to post a link to prove it because I am trying to buy it : ). But looking at prices in you area its crazy. X's are selling above MSRP in your area.

if airbags deployed the frontal damage is likely more than it looks, and usually airbags and a bent core support is a key factor to a car being salvage title, which will drastically effect it's pricing.

Don't buy it. Should've kept your 9 in the first place

If the vehicle was repaired correctly, then you should have no problems. Drive it, so that you can feel if anything is wrong. Get it inspected if you are serious.

If you don't want to go through the hassle of taking precautions, walk away.

Ask the owner if he's a member here. You can look up his/her posts!

Blue one is a much better option

what that guy is asking is what Dealers are asking for a GOOD condition X

His is crashed, Private seller, and modified. (all reasons to bring down the price, ALOT)

If you really want that one go for 20k or Less IMO

Also keep in mind, on a lot of vehicles, I'm not positive if the evo is one, if the airbags have been depolyed, many times the seatbelts will all need to be replaced, along with crash sensors and srs modules. Many times it permanently locks the seat belts in the current location they were extended at. I know Toyotas are like that. If it has airbags deployed as long as you are interested in putting a lot of money into it, its not worth it, it will never have resale value.

Personally I steer clear of any vehicle that has had a significant amount of damage, repaired or not. If it were a small bump where air bags didn't deploy I would maybe consider it.

I have seen used 08's go for less in mint condition with lower miles. I picked up my 11 not too long ago for only about 2k more than they are asking for that one.. I'd say shop around some more.

And just curious, why did you sell your ix?
