I am going to buy my first evo and have decided it will be a X. I wanted to find out what the difference between the 2008 thru the 2013 models are..what performance mods have been added thru the years ect. what year would be the best buy?

There aren't really any power differences. Always get the newest model you can.

From 08 to 11 Evo, the thing I enjoy the most is heated leather seats, sunroof and bluetooth... not just phone calls, but streaming pandora and the USB port. It also seems be a tad quieter then my 08. Anyway, not much difference between the two. Only negative is the plastic valve cover in the newer ones if you plan to start seriously modding. This is personal experience. I've owned Evo 8-9-10, so I have experience with them all.
