Hey guys, name's Eric if you care to know. I just bought an 08 GSR yesterday and needless to say, I'm in love with the car. I can't tell you jack squat about it, besides the fact that its super quick. 
My previous car before this was a 06 Scion tC...but who gives a crap about that ?
On a more serious note, I came from the DSM scene. I've owned 4 different DSM's, most recently, my project: an AWD swapped GST. It had the rare black leather interior, the great 7 bolt split thrust block for starters, then i swapped out the rods and pistons from one from an evo 8, kelford cams, ecuflash/ceddymods, holset hx35, the goodies go on and on...but the car had no oil pressure and I decided to part it out rather than screw around with dumping more cash into fixing it...i just decided to get an Evo!
I have tons of questions, but I'm used to forums...use the search button. Hopefully the platform isnt TOO different from the dsm's but I'm looking forward to making some mods (the car is my DD so nothing but an intake/exhaust and maybe a tune)

A month? I wanna mod it now but with simple bolt ons. An intake, UICP, i wanna change the BOV to a 1g from a DSM and thats really it. Of course, I wanna do maintenance first: spark plugs, I don't need an oil change, but I have a ton a redline mt-90 laying around, so change the gear oil, and all that jazz...wish I wouldnt have gotten rid of my wideband...but oh well lol
I'm happy for the welcome I've got. Thankful too. You guys are a lot nicer (and less douchier) than most DSMers lol

What Tilted Kilt was that? I love the one in Tempe. The ASU girls there are complete eye-candy and never disappoint with good conversation.
Enlighten me, as I haven't reached that far in my research yet.
I mean, I know the BOV is recirculated and all, and Im definitely about function over form, but that bothers me. I've went WOT on this car atleast 10 times, and I can't hear it. Makes me feel like it either has a really stiff spring, or its leaking...something. It could just be my imagination.
Nope! I live in PA: potholesl, unpaved roads, brick roads, and speed bumps do not like lowered cars. I tell all them German kids ur gonna bottom out..and what happens? they bottom out lol

Btw love the RR, mines a 08 as well. I did all the boltons as well, intake, UICP, LICP, bigger intercooler, exhaust, injectors, coilovers, e85 and what not. U gonna lower it or get coilovers?
