I agree. If you go slow, stay in the slow lane. Simple as that.

Sometimes I go slow to save gas.. Sometimes I just don't care and speed. I think it depends on the type of music I'm listening to.

I guess some did miss the point. There's nothing wrong with doing the speed limit as long as you're driving right and passing left and not holding anyone up. I drive on the street like a I do the track in that I don't like holding people up. If you're faster than me then fine, pass me or I will get out of the left lane to let you pass if I see you coming (not that I drive in the left lane when not passing if it's not heavy volume). Some people think it's some big F'ing competition when in fact driving on the street is to get from point A to point B in a reasonable amount. Slowing down objects in motion and flow puts people in the Ford Explorer owner/retard category in my list of all that which is mighty.

Looks like someone got a big bag of troll-food and decided to spread it all over this forum. Great.

I'm not sure there's much of a point to this thread in the first place.

I agree with this 100%. I try not to pass people on the right, but if you're doing the speed limit in the left lane, I will pass you. Also, call me a douche or whatever, but if someone is weaving through traffic and is going to try to pass me on the right, I'll speed up and try to block them.

Don't get me wrong. While I have a passive attitude towards street driving, I use the whole street and try not to lift for anything (I daily driver a momentum car, a corolla). I pass on the right, on the left and on the shoulder just to maintain momentum/flow. Is it wrong? Sure. But how wrong is it that I have to slow down for the imbeciles spanning 2 and 3 lanes making the road impassible? That's a lot wronger than my English and spelling. If I see someone weaving, what's the point of blocking them? Just let them go and they'll be out of your life forever most of the time. The only thing I don't do is get angry and engage the soccer mom/dad in an altercation because that just makes me look like a total 'tard.

Sorry but if you pass on the shoulder you already look like a total 'tard IMO.

I see your point about blocking them. If there's a ton of room for him/her to pass, I wouldn't bother doing anything. But if they're trying to squeeze between me and other drivers when there isn't a lot of space, that's when I block them.

I'm not terribly proud of it but sometimes ridiculous measures need to be used in ridiculous situations. It doesn't help that I spend 15 hours of my week driving in traffic with people who couldn't care less about maintaining flow of traffic. In fact, I sat on the highway this morning for an hour because it was closed after some genius flipped his SUV in the left lane while (I presume) changing the radio station, texting, drinking his coffee and road raging.
