In VA Beach you have to go with the flow of traffic. A lot of people will get road rage really quickly because traffic just sucks there so when the road is open you just go. Fast or slow lane lol.

 

I tend to drive very timidly. Dbags in Corolla's and Prius' are usually the ones to get mad I am going the speed limit. Makes me lawl to hear that 1.8 chug along.

 

I do it all the time driving to work to conserve gas. I have people flooring their Hyundais and Civics to pass me, I just smile lol.

I actually started to drive the speed limit more often and I actually managed to get 25.1mpg. My mind was blown, normally it's like 19 maybe 22 but not 25!

 

I'm always in the right most lane going the speed limit. I love ricer fly-bys, angry soccer moms, and stuffy businessmen who try to crawl up my *** in the slow lane for me to move over. Sorry pal, not happening!

Well sir. You are still an ***. haha. I mean this in the nicest way. If you go the speed limit or under you are a jerk. When you speed faster than traffic you are a jerk. The only way to be somewhat ok is to try and keep pace with surrounding traffic.

But I do think it is funny to get looks for doing the speed limit when i actually do haha. Or when someone rides my bumper when the other lane is open i like to slow to about 25.

 

what's even better is when some ******* rides your *** while you're doing 65 in a 55 (when there's no oncoming traffic). i always slow down and throw the car into 3rd gear and wait for them to pass. 90% of the time they'll get the idea (it's loud in 3rd gear) and back off - the other 10% gets their *** held in the lane when they try to pass.

I think people in general need to calm the hell down when you drive. People act like by driving in the left lane and even going 1 MPH under the speed limit you deserve to be shot. Really guys it's not a huge deal, the difference between driving 5 MPH in speed is not life or death. Driving a 3000 pound death machine in anger could very well be. It's really not worth the stress and it's especially not worth wishing death upon other people. Frankie says relax.

 

You do know what Frankie was really talking about, right? I mean, I'd hate for a red-blooded, homophobic, American male to go through life singing "relax ... don't do it ... when you want to ..." only to learn on his deathbed what he'd actually spent his life saying.

 

it's not entirely about getting to where you need to faster. it's about the self centered pr!ck not giving a sh*t about everyone that's behind him. just because you don't have anything going on, doesn't mean the guy behind you is in the same position. some people have meetings/interviews/etc that they have to be at.

 

I don't understand this tendency to attribute these insane personality profiles to people who you drive with. People driving cars generally aren't sociopathic psychotic selfish morons who want nothing more then to cause you frustration. They are mothers, daughters, fathers, friends, grandmothers and grandfathers - the people you generally smile to when you walk down the street and are just trying to get to their destination harmlessly.

It's really nothing to fly into a rage over and if being "inconvenienced" into driving the speed limit causes you to wish death upon someone else, I'd say the problem is with you.
