Accident

I had a collision accident two days ago. I was waiting for the green light on my way. As the green light lit up, after a sec i moved my car then boom, a lexus rx350 ran a red light hitting my driver's side bumper, scratched my driver side headlight, cracked my carbon fiber lip, the hood just on top of the headlight is scratched and dented. My front license plate flew like a disk in the air. The lexus' passenger front door and half the rear door are dented and damaged more than my car. Anyways, nobody's hurt. The lexus has 3 more passenger with a kid in the rear. We stopped and i moved on the side gesturing him to move on the side too. When he went out of his car, he apologized big time to me. Deep inside of course im mad and just want to get his insurance and details so bad. Told him that is a red light man. He's a middle aged man and trying to lecture him lol. We exchanged infos and found out he is not the owner of the car (his cousin). After that, I picked up my front license plate in the middle of the intersection Did not call the police by the way. I head my way and called my insurance. Since it is new year's day, my car will be checked on wed. Here are some pics i took...

I'm still not sure how Farmers (my new insurance) will take care of things. Should i just get a new front bumper like the c-west and paint match it? How about the headlight? Is it gonna be replaced as a new unit? The lights are still working. I still don't know if something inside was damaged badly, but seems like it still running good like before. I can't wait to get her fixed up.

Sorry to hear man. I went through a similar accident only my car was parked in a parking lot. It was a horrible experience dealing with the insurances and body shop. Hopefully it will go much smoother for you. I'm STILL dealing with that ladies insurance over the diminished value

Damn thats a dummy move not calling the police... You better hope that person that hit you is.honest. He can totally deny it or not even.respond to your calls. First thing your insurance is going to ask for is a police report.
